Questions people ask first
Are these tools really free?
Yes, and there is no paid tier behind them. Nothing is metered, nothing is held back behind a preview, there is no credit balance to run down and no card is asked for at any point. If you find something on this site that asks you to pay to finish a job, it is a bug.
Why do I have to create an account then?
So that a run belongs to somebody. It lets us answer you when a conversion goes wrong, keeps a list of what you have run so you can ask about it later, and stops one visitor occupying a small server all afternoon. It takes about twenty seconds and asks for a name, an email and a password.
What happens to the files I upload?
They are read inside the request that brought them and never written to disk or to a database. The one exception is a finished OCR result, which is held for a few hours so you can download it and is deleted the moment you do. What we keep is that a run happened, the file name, and how it went — never anything that was inside the document.
Is my resume or bank statement sent anywhere else?
The spreadsheet and document tools never leave this server: the figures are computed here and only a profile of the columns is ever sent onwards. The resume and cover letter writers do send your text to a language model, because rewriting cannot be done without it, and every page that does says so before you press anything.
How accurate is the ATS resume score?
Every point of it is counted rather than guessed. It checks which job description keywords your resume does and does not contain, whether a parser can find your sections, whether the file can be read at all, and whether your bullets describe achievements or duties. It estimates one thing — whether a tracking system will read and pass your file — and it does not predict whether you will be hired.
Do I have to donate to use anything?
No. A donation buys nothing at all: not a faster queue, not a bigger file, not an early look. Every account already has everything. The button exists because the server costs money every month, and it asks for no particular amount.
Free, and it stays free.
There is no paid tier waiting behind these. If one of them saves you an afternoon
and you feel like putting something towards the server, you can — and it
changes nothing about your account either way.
